I have used Turbo Tax for the pst 4 years and this year it didn't move my data over. It's a good thing that I filed 1040A.
What's great about it: Love the ease of answering all the questions
What's not so great: Did not transfer my data over from last year's taxes

The Trustworthy Tax Consultant

Personally, I don't like tax consultants who give you the maximums you can get away with even if it's not true or accurate. Turbo Tax states it plainly and even offers an audit risk at the end in case you were going willy nilly with extra credits that don't make sense. I trust the end result, and I have never been shocked by having to write a huge unexpected check at the end of the year.
What's great about it: It's easy yet involved enough to give me assurance of accuracy
What's not so great: If you don't force yourself to read and consider new things, you'll miss opportunities

Turbo Tax is awesome !!!!!!

Turbo Tax is so easy to use and do a great job of not only finding every credit and deduction you can get but checking for errors and wisely advising you on what you can and / or should do even if its not necessarily the most popular choice but most sensical choice. I've used it for 8 straight years and I have no complaints .
What's great about it: the simple easy to use navigation
What's not so great: none really

Another Great Filing Experience

Yet another great year for filing my taxes through TurboTax. It make filing taxes easy and I'm sure competitors would not be able to find more money for a refund for us. This year I had a large charitable donation (a one time only kind of thing) and TurboTax guided me effortlessly through each step in recording the deductions.
What's great about it: Ease of use and reminders to review subsection
What's not so great: Tedious clicking yes & no buttons - not hot keys

2013 returns

overall pretty pleased. had a glitch that kept the returns from being sent. kept getting error messages. had to go back over the last few steps again to get it to send.
What's great about it: step by step questions
What's not so great: trouble getting the returns sent.

Great product. I've used accountants for many years and I started using turbo tax in 2012 with great results. My return is comparable to what I'm used to.
