Good job Turbo Tax

It seems every year the software is easier and more complete.
Makes me wonder if I missed some taxes in the past.

My federal and state returns were accepted the same day as filed.
What's great about it: I feel confident using TurboTax
What's not so great: I wish that state e-filing cost was cheaper.

Improved performance

Used TurboTax for years. It seemed to guide me through the process quicker and more efficiently this year. Found it easier to get explanations and answers whenever a section became confusing.
What's great about it: Got it done fast
What's not so great: Duh, it's taxes

TurboTax is Easy!

What's great about it: I have been using TurboTax for several years and find it very easy to understand. I will continue to use it again.
What's not so great: A little slow loading up sometimes. Could be my computer.

Preparing for this means gathering lots of paper things. Maybe having some kind of guide for sorting them might help speed thiings up.

Easy to Use

Turbo tax is easy to use and fast, but it has lots of screens you have to click through. It would be great if the first page after the information screen (names, address, SSN, etc....) was a list of check boxes asking what forms you had such as W-2, 1099-G, 1099-INT, etc... Following this would be general questions such as 'Do you own a home/have a mortgage?' 'DId you pay personal property tax?', Did you have paperwork for deductible contributions?, and others. The check boxes and yes/no answers would queue up the screens.
What's great about it: Easy to Use and quick
What's not so great: Sometimes too many screens to click through

Taxes are a very personal and somewhat frightening part of life. Using a product that would not finish the return last year and would not load this year is disconcerting. I got my return however the cost to emotions was HIGH.
What's great about it: Tax finished THIS YEAR, "not last year"
What's not so great: It DID NOT load from CD
