Very efficient

Turbo is very accurate. Guidance walks you through the process. Help is available if you have questions. Time is saved by only asking detailed questions about relevant topics. Interface from fed to state tax and from prior years is another time saver. There are error review throughout the process. Forms, when needed, can also be viewed, but the return can be completed without needing knowledge of tax forms.
What's great about it: Accrurate; key questions that saves time
What's not so great: state program is not able to be filed electronically due to an interface error

Very Smooth once again

Everything went as I expected. My only concerns are that 1) The software will not let you install under a profile without Admin rights. 2)Error message because Anti virus software appeared to not be updated, but had all of its updates and was working as expected. I had to uninstall Avast and then put back in to make Turbo Tax 2013 work. 3) and the one that leaves me a little concerned, is that I processed the returns, got all the way to filing, and the software tells me I had a wrong amount in a certain box. This should come up in the error checking, not just before transmitting. It also changed my amounts, and I had printed copies as a safety net.
What's great about it: clear forms, great question process, accurate results
What's not so great: Anti Virus issue on install, Review didn't pick up mistake until just before transmitting

A few gliches

Did not like how it asked me if I was ready to use my free state and I said yes but it still charged me. Twice , last year and this year it did the same thing. you also can't change things on your state once you've done the corrections..This year I am sending in State return because it didn't give me my free e-file as promised. I am bummed
What's great about it: I love Turbo tax its awesome how you can change things to see how it would affect you for next year.
What's not so great: The State would not let you go back and change things after it reviewed it.

Good experience

Well this year was a lot smoother than last year. I was hesitant at first to use this program again. I just figured last year was an anomaly. This program is so simple to use and the calculation checks are great. Good product and keep up the good work. For a person who doesn't have a lot to file this program is more cost effective than using a tax preparer.

Easiest return yet

Keeping me aware of what the items I was working on helped me understand the process and boosted my confidence. The flow of the process has never been better. But once again, as every year, I reached the filing point without being directed to the Car and Truck Worksheet for my business. I had to go back and ferret out the form myself to get that information into my return and receive the substantial deduction it provided. This could be a problem on my part, rather than TurboTax, and I am just missing something. But if so, it must be too easily missed, as I do it every year.
What's great about it: Kept me informed about what the items I was sorking on were.
What's not so great: Did nopt direct me to Carf and Truck Worksheet for busines expenses.

Trying to print final copies to mail but get the overlay that says" DO NOT FILE - FORM NOT FINAL" without any explanation. I want to print the finished copies but it doesn't allow me to print without this overlay of "DO NOT FILE" . how do I do this? I get the same information also when wanting to print out the 1040-ES forms, and it isn't easy to print the four all at once without going back to the menu to print payment vouchers 2,3,and 4. Last year I was able to do this and print any forms very simply.

There and Back Again!

Even though I got stuck a couple of times because I didn't understand the question, Turbo Tax was there to provide the answers and guide me to where I needed to be. Using this product is always painless and I don't dread the process any more. Gotta love the refunds, so I keep coming back every year for more!!!!!
What's great about it: Easy to follow the blow by blow descriptions...
What's not so great: There are a few technical questions I wasn't sure how to answer...
