I've been using TTax since mid '80s. Been through three children, four homes, two businesses, and two adopted children.
At one time my perception was that every time I clicked next I got a nag. That perception has faded.
The "back" button sometimes takes me back a page (what I want) and sometimes takes me to the beginning of a section (NOT what I want).
Overall, TTax has done what it is touted to do (prepare tax returns). Overall, a good product which delivers value for the price.

What's great about it: q & e - quick and easy

Thanks so much for help on this, super easy to use and relatively cheap to purchase the software. Saved A TON more using this over H&R Block.
What's great about it: Automatic dollar counting, maximum deducting and witty commentary about questions required to be asked
What's not so great: Some John C. Reilly V.O. would have been awesome

In the past, Wisconsin adjustments were a recurring source of difficulty. This year everything was easy and apparently accurate.
Most operations were really efficient, with good carryover from 2012 return.
About the only problem was returning to estimated tax to edit vouchers for next year. It took some hunting and a lot of repeat clicks to get to the right sections in both federal and state.
Merchandising remains an issue. It would be great if TurboTax would remember my choices the first time, and not ask again on every revisit to particular sections. No, I still don't want to upgrade to Home & Business; no, I still don't want to to upgrade to Premier; and no, I still don't want to pay extra to do Wisconsin eFiling, which is easy and free if you go to their website.

Was just as easy to use as always. Even after my retirement this past year.

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Easy Return

I've used Turbo Tax a number of years. I'm always pleased at the ease of completing these returns including the ability to edit any earlier entries at any time. Also keeping up with changes in a timely manner.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: can't think of one
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Quick, Easy and Very Easy

For 1st timers with receipts you can go through it very easy. They lead you by having you fill in the answers and ask you questions if problems pop up. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2004. Love it
What's great about it: Loves the way it walks you through it.
What's not so great: Trying to talk to a live person. Once you reached a live person he was very confusing and hard to understand.

Extra Mile And Then Some

Simply A+, yet again. My tax return last year was an unmitigated nightmare of complexity. Turbotax helped me every step of the way and got me a fabulous refund. This year, my return was much simpler. I'm a committed Turbotax afficianado now. I'll never go back to an accountant (my last one filed my federal return under the wrong social security number!, and charged me hundreds of dollars for it, too).
What's great about it: Turbotax makes filing almost painless. Even someone with zero computer skills can successfully file.
What's not so great: I can't think of any.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
