Easy Taxes

Easiest year yet using Turbo Tax 2013. One does not have to keep up with the latest tax law changes as TT does it for you. Simple format - fill in the blanks. Leads the novice by the hand. As a long time user of this program I plan on using TT next year also.

POOR MAC SUPORT - to many extras

To Many add ons like state filing fees adit protection.
support for MAC is poor at best. There are cheaper products out there I've used TTax for years and this will probably be my last time.
Turbotax for business interface to quickbooks for Mac is POOR.
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: $$$$ - poor MAC support

I would appreciate a correction from you before April 15th that says I estimated $39000 which is causing the government supposedly to give me back $22000.

Love everything except print capability

I love Turbo Tax, and have used it for years. However, it still is not possible to print an individual screen. After every section, there is a summary, and I want to print that summary. Turbo Tax will not let me do that -- I can't even copy and paste. The only solution is to use the Print Screen button on the keyboard, but that often doesn't get the all the information needed, and it is hard to read when pasted into a Word document. Please allow a print function for an individual screen!
What's great about it: Extrememly good questions get to all the details
What's not so great: Cannot print individual screens
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Surprisingly Easy

I had never used this product before, amazingly easy to use, very surprising and thorough

Worksheets

It was much simpler in prior years where you entered all stock trades on 1 worksheet rather than a separate worksheet for each transaction.
What's not so great: Schedule D worksheet requiring 1 worksheet per stock transaction was cumbersome compared with previous years.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
