I have found mistakes on my state taxes and no way to tell

Use it every year and I like that it transfers data and I feel that I am getting my max deductions and minimizing my tax risk

Easy As Always

I've been using TT since I can remember! I tell everyone I know to use it- and unless you have such complicated stuff, there is no reason to waste your money on a CPA when you can do it here for a couple of bucks, get your money faster, and know it was done right! If you that worried about it- use the audit protection- It's still cheaper than a CPA!
I applaud you once again my friends at Turbo Tax! Thank you for making it easy for me!

What's not so great: Everyone in my family makes me do their taxes!

Used Turbo Tax Basic, upgraded to the De Luxe program and
it was confusing between the 1040 Schedule D form, or the form
8949. I thought it only needed one or the other. In the end it did both which was puzzling to me. Otherwise I have used Turbo Tax Basic for several years and enjoy using it.

Saves me Time and Money every year

I've used Turbotax every year since 1995 and watched it evolve and become simpler to use while my taxes have grown more complex. I've had some unusual tax situations and Turbotax has come through like a champ year after year.
Turbotax allows you to organize your records and work through your taxes. If you're missing any documents you'll still be able to continue working on your taxes while you obtain what you need. It prepares a complete tax return in PDF format that you can mail, or you can easily e-file your tax return online.
I'm particularly pleased with the way Turbotax carries forward data from one year to the next. This includes a lot more than just your name and address. Turbotax saved me hundreds of dollars by calculating my carryover of charitable deductions and capital losses from prior years, so it pays to use the product year after year.
Management of my taxes and finances management are one of the most important reasons that I own a computer in the first place, and Turbotax has been indispensable to me for as long as I can remember.
What's great about it: Easy intuitive interface, great record keeping (PDF) and carries over data for next year. Great support too.
What's not so great: None

working okay

just when I about to file the return, the program got hit with Error 2145386407, “job’s cost transfer policy settings prevent job from transferring.” bug. I had to download from the website to file federal. and I still can't state because of this bug. will try again tomorrow.
