The only significant problem was when I went to e-file, it prompted me to download 2013 updates even though I had already done that. Repeating the circular update and refile didn't change anything.
Went on TurboTax AnswerXchange blog and found an answer from a customer that worked--yippee!

What's great about it: The novice method was very reassuring and thorough
What's not so great: There was a glitch at the end with e-filing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Program NOT working correctly this year 2013

I normally use TurboTax every year (10+) and I don't have any trouble. This year I had trouble with the program not presenting several sections to enter data. I went back into form mode and filled in a lot of information. I would have been in a lot of trouble with the IRS, if I used TurboTax only.
I tried to add my phone number to the Oregon State 40 form. I selected the section, in form mode, but it would not take the information.
I also selected the section to print letters and Returns for filing and none of the letters printed, but one that had your logo and my name and partial address. I finally printed them by selecting them separately.
I bought the backup Tax Audit Plan, so that if something isn't still correct, I can get help, if needed.
I'm dying from Metastatic Carcinoid Cancer, stage 4: Heart Disease, stage4; I'm paralyzed from head to toe, spinal cord injury; and several other diseases, thyroid, liver, pancrease, ect.... I REALLY DON'T WANT MYSELF OR ESPECIALLY MY WIFE DEALING WITH THE IRS, because of program failure. Please fix it. It used to be a great program.

What's not so great: Need to fix and synchronize your program. (I use Win 8.1 Pro)

Overall the program helps prepare the taxes very well. The ability to automatically complete the state forms without even going into the state return is a big time saving advantage.
What's great about it: It allows you to compare last year's filling with what you are doing this year.
What's not so great: Sometimes it is not clear as to what to enter.

Great product. Makes filing taxes simple and easy.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Makes filing taxes a snap.
What's not so great: Just ask once if you want to download or manually enter stock sales.

Always Easy

I've used TurboTax since 1996 to do not only my families taxes, but also those of my aged mother and mother-in-law. All three situations are entirely different, but TurboTax has always made the step-by-step process an easy task...and so far NEVER an error.
What's great about it: Step-by-step questions

Very easy and quick to use. Once I had all paperwork took less than a half hour. Walked me through all sections.

What's not so great: Wish it would fillout bank info for refund. Does for payment of taxes
