Turbo Tax makes tax preparation and filing a breeze. I have used it for the past 5 years.
There was a small problem, a bit irritating, with the update command. Even though I updated the software before I started completing the forms, it continued to deny me the access to transmit the returns several times. I finally closed the program and reopened it before it worked.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Glitch in Updates/Repeated Transmission Error Message

I should have filed earlier

I filed later than usual this year due to a total knee replacement at the end of January. I was able to complete and file both federal and state tax returns in just one sitting at the kitchen table tonight. Easiest and fastest filing in years. You can't beat Turbo Tax. Thanks

The Only Way to File!

I have been using TurboTax for years now. I highly recommend this to all who ask. It gets easier each year and this year was the best in understanding the directions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and understand the instructions
What's not so great: 1099-G was a little confusing since it covers different areas
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Federal is easy
What's not so great: State return is poorly structured and unclear. Cost to efile is DECEPTIVE. Most believe 1st is free. NOT

I have used TurboTax for approximately 20 years! It is extremely easy to use and provides resources whenever I have questions.
What's great about it: So easy to do taxes each year--the auto-transfer from prior year return helps so very much! I don't forget anything!
