It does my tax

It's not immediately obvious how to get into the "wizard" mode like it used to be. Now you see a long list of items to pick from and the wizard starts withing those items. Every time you exit one item you end up back at the long list and you're forced to scroll down to see what's next on the list.
What's great about it: simple enough
What's not so great: too much scrolling

Filing Problems

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have never had any issues until this year. I tried to file my returns and had numerous problems. The software kept sending me to a Turbo Tax website. The page was incomplete and had buttons that would not work. In addition, the software would popup a page that was blank and would not close. This popup blocked me for doing anything within Turbo Tax. After closing the software through task manager, nearly a hundred times (not exaggerating), I finally found a way to work around the problem. The issue seemed to be dealing with my state return, so I e-filed my federal return individually. I then had to print my state return to mail it in. I certainly hope this is a one time problem. I may just have to find a new way of completing my tax returns.

Fast way to file

Before or during final checks, should recommend an update check. I filed without a recent boot and therefore I did not have 26 March 2014 updates.
I was confused about how to answer the question about regular payments or withdrawals from my pensions since I was not taking any but the usual payments. I did find some help from the community posts.
In the deduction summary, it showed a amount for 2012 tax prep fees and a zero amount for 2013. However, I was not able to deduct tax prep in 2012 or 2013 due to 2% exclusion.
TurboTax rounded down the amount paid to $5,199 for medical insurance when it was transferred to medical deductions section from the Form 1099-R I had entered instead of rounding up as it should since the amount was $5,199.97.
What's great about it: completeness and speed
What's not so great: unclear about receiving retirement pension, how to answer

E-filing has been made really easy. I do refunds via direct deposit, and this has been made effortless after first year,

Navigation back and forth has been improved, but I'm still not always sure that all calculations are completed when I go back and make a change and then return to my starting point just prior to the change.
This year I made an error entering my state income from one of my W2s. It was less than 50% of the tax withheld. your reviews and checks did not catch the error until the final review just before filing. I went back and corrected it, but it did not change my refunds. I'm concerned about that.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for many years, and it's never let me down. This year is no exception. Why pay for someone to do your taxes, when Turbo Tax makes it so easy to do yourself?
