Easy, clear, fast

I've been using TT for 5 years and I will never go back to using a preparer, unless i win the lottery and buy a small island nation.
What's great about it: Goes through all the paperwork with clear explanations and helps you fix mistakes

Love this tax software

I love using Turbo Tax and I will never use any other software. This has been my choice for many years and will be my choice for years to come.
What's great about it: Taxes made easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used it for last 9 years, very helpful and easy read. Biggest sore spot and only one is last several years is-- your search for answers to questions was not very helpful. I think the search engine is weak or your data base is weak in the subject details. Too many questions that sound like but not the same question or specific topic. Needs some real help.
What's great about it: easy read and explanations
What's not so great: asking question library not very helpful, too sporatic-general

easy taxes

Overall I think TurboTax is pretty good with it's walk through of the various deductions and incomes, etc.
It did a good job of even the state tax filing, which was better than the online version that I had been using.
The one thing that would be a great improvement is if there were a calculator for the taxes or tax bracket for the IRA contribution. Something like, if you contribute $X dollars, your tax will be reduced by this amount, or a table that displays the different tax table brackets of how much to contribute to reduce the tax for this year.

Overall, helpful and easy to use. When I needed to call expert, their advice was "on point" - except for last week, when I was diverted to your email. Keep folk at phone during busiest times, as well as other times.
Itemized contributions took much longer than necessary. Ought to be a way to alphabetize contributions/donations. Addresses should be included at the initial listing of contribution. Process is now cumbersome and too time consuming. Also, if you needed to edit one item, you could not go directly to that item. You had to start at the beginning and go through the whole list. Were you conducting an experiment to find out our frustration levels????
What's great about it: Easy step guide can be used as needed. Some material was transferred from last year, which saved time
What's not so great: Listing of contributions/donations VERY cumbersome. Please improve. Couldn't reach customerservice by phone last week.

Easy to use.

Overall great program. I remember sitting with a calculator a pencil and eraser to do my taxes. It took the best part of a week.

What's not so great: Sometimes options are not clear and lead from easy guide to complex tax issues.
