Makes Taxes Easier but Average Computer Experience

I used to be on the automatic bill and ship program until I realized that it was cheaper to wait and order indirectly. This year's increase for the same product was around $15-20 if I had kept it automatic.
This software is convenient to help filing taxes without a tax company, especially if you have deductions for business expenses and school. It reminds you of areas to collect information, and it is convenient to file online.
I disagree with charges for filing for state taxes. It is a convenience for the state and for us and probably speeds their filing.
What's great about it: Tells you what you need (information)
What's not so great: Cost for state filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

The software is generally easy to use. It allows you to import data from prior years; It allows you to import income and financial data directly from many external sources, It does require considerable tax knowledge on the part of the user.
The interview process doesn't fully populate all data fields that needed to be filled out.
Review your work carefully - - TurboTax sometimes double counts entries that then either understate or overstate your tax obligation. TurboTax is vague or non-responsive in identifying the data source for some number entries making it almost impossible to backtrack a suspicious number.
An "Override" of a bad or redundant number will result in you not being able to e-file. You can still file manually, but it's a surprise that you don't need at the end of the process, especially the closer you get to April 15 or the official file date for the year.
What's great about it: Can import data from prior years; Software navigation is easy.
What's not so great: The interview process doesn't populate all data fields.

Getting better all the time. Don't refer to IRS Publications, it takes too long to bring up the information. Also tried to use the Q and A for the first time, but was not helpful; you should post some where on it how long it will take before your question is answered.
5th year using the product and plan to carry on.
What's great about it: everything great, windows and drop boxes that explain make it easy
What's not so great: There were some help boxes that didn't have any information, which made iot a little difficult to make some decisions

Turbo Tax was easy to use. I've used Turbo Tax for many years and never have a problem. Thank you.
What's great about it: User friendly! Loved the" Error" check too!
What's not so great: Everything worked properly.

I was a long time user of Turbo Tax and tried something different the last couple of years to save a few bucks. BIG MISTAKE! Not only am I glad I came back to Turbo Tax I now believe it is actually better then ever!
What's great about it: Very thorough and easy to understand.
What's not so great: None!

Really like the format of choosing the interview or go work what you want to work on. Easy to get additional forms needed. Questions make it possible to do this on my own. I wish I could duplicate W2-G forms though.
What's great about it: Easy, fast and help available if questions
What's not so great: Does not transfer W2-G information or duplicate the W2
