When entering medical deductions, I was "crossing over" different types to the wrong category - will alter my record keeping this year to prevent the problem next year.
What's great about it: was same as last time
What's not so great: wish we could simplify deductibles - I made an outline this year

Quick, Clean, Convenient

Did all of my taxes this year in one 3 hour session. This is good for a family of 4 with house, investments, and itemized deductions. Plus I got a great Federal and State refund!
What's great about it: Fast and Linke the transfer of data from last year
What's not so great: Always have to update
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

a small problem

I love Turbo Tax and I'm very comfortable with it. This year however I noticed an odd glitch. When I was working on multiple returns, I would quit my daughter's return and when I went back to it, the page was blank. I could not close her return either. I had to completely quit Turbo Tax to get back to her return. It only seemed to happen with my daughter's return. I was concerned that all my work had been lost because her page was blank.
What's great about it: I'm familiar with Turbo Tax. Have used it for years
What's not so great: Had a small problem this year.

Not as easy as 2012. Had to keep going to Get More Info.
What's not so great: Updates did not load automatically when program was opened.

Great with one exception

Everything went quite easily until I tried to file both Federal and NJ electronically. A notice said it could not file, needed a program update. I tried updating several times and it said it was installed. Still no file after trying over two days. What goes? I will just file by mail. I paid extra for electronic state filing. What about that?
What's great about it: Worked easily and well just like last year
What's not so great: Could not get the program to file electronically

Again 1-2-3 Easy Filing

Can't believe how simple to follow and fill in what's needed for tax filing. Been doing this for quite a few years now in TurboTax. Interesting point a few years ago: my wife doubted the accuracy of TurboTax (or maybe my use of it) and suggested going to one of those tax doing/filing companies where some of her family had gone. Surprise, surprise... Not only did TurboTax perform within $1.00 of their software, but the company "expert" said maybe I should work there and show them a few tricks!!! Always a great experience with TurboTax. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: ease of answering questions
What's not so great: Occasionally not clear about corrections that need to be made
