Best way!

I have been doing my own taxes with Turbo Tax for for years and like being able to do them as soon as I receive my W-2's!
What's great about it: Awesome to see my refund grow as I progressed through the process.
What's not so great: Not enough of a refund :)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Money!

I like the way it asks yes or no questions so you can decide if you need to work on a particular area. It is very easy to use. Price is very reasonable!
What's great about it: User friendly, great help/question options
What's not so great: Some explanations aren't easy to understand if you aren't familiar with certain vocabulary

glitches....

I electronically filed my taxes this year and the Turbo Tax program fouled them up. I SPECIFICALLY filed electronically my federal and state return the way I ALWAYS do with Turbo Tax with the direct deposit option and instead it has the IRS and the state of Missouri MAILING my refund to my home address. Somehow during the filing process it changed my refund option to mail me a check....ON ITS OWN. I am not a NEWBIE to this, as I have used Turbo Tax for YEARS. it's the first time that I have EVER seen the software make a mistake like this.
What's great about it: Easy to use....
What's not so great: Glitch in program

Great as Usual

The process is simple with the question and answer approach that steps through the complexity of filing federal and state returns.
What's great about it: Excellent process stepping through all of the income, deductions, and other parts of the forms.
What's not so great: There was some confusion over the email notification of forms availability. Email indicated ready and program did not.

2nd year using TurboTax, transferred data from previous year made set-up easy and remembering prior year deductions simple. Data automatically imported for W-2 made income section a breeze.
What's great about it: Fast, detailed, simple

Everything went well

This is my 5th year using TurboTax. I must be used to it because I had no trouble finding things or operating the program. There were a few minor changes which I think made the process a little smoother.
What's great about it: I liked not having to say I didn't want updates everytime.
What's not so great: Can't think of any.

I love the easyguide I think it's called. Step by step through anything that could apply...letting me decide what to review - not a person guessing what might apply to me to get me out of their office quick...
