Taxes Easily Completed Once More

I've used TurboTax for several years and have always had good results. I like the ease of switching to forms view and the many choices of how to go about preparing my taxes.
What's great about it: ease of use, good information about errors, audit risk

i tried to do state , system was charging me . to also do state return. packaging notes state return for free.
also problem in saving return

I have used Turbo Tax for the last several years. When I entered the data for this year, it appeared that you did not have my prior years data on file. Did I miss something?

Always Reliable

Have used Turbo Tax for at least the last 10-12 years. Ive always done my own and I find it helps my family better understand its financial obligations, savings, and tax requirements. I believe Intuit should offer family packages; If I buy a CD I should be able to use it on a couple of different computers from my family for their returns as well.
What's great about it: Makes sure you do a complete review of all items to consider for filing. I like the comparisons; uploads from instituti
What's not so great: Can get lost at times when stopping and restarting again. Use pictures/better explanations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I've been using TT since 1994(?) Forever, anyway.
The program has gotten smoother each year and I normally rate 5 stars.
This year my filing was delayed by TT messages that a Schedule K-1 had not been Fed approved and I should wait for an email. I was eventually saved by the TT online forum, where I was told to check version. For some reason the program had stopped updating -- nothing I did, and then re-started. Once my return was "approved" for e-file, I was again delayed while TT went into a loop of failing, re-updating, and failing.
Once I broke through this loop, I e-filed, so thanks.
Pain in the seat of my jeans though.
Better luck next year.

What's great about it: Cleaner, some of the trivial stuff removed

Easy to use!

All in all, it was an easy process. I like the way Turbo Tax calculates various tax items for me, like local sales tax. I will definitely use this program again next year!
What's great about it: Walked me through all input; made it easy.
What's not so great: Hard to go back and verify specific items; e.g., capital gains
