1. When TT decides that the Fed return is 1049EZ have an option to NOT print out all the unnecessary forms
2. Can never find where to put cost for safe deposit box.

Have used this programs for over 15 years now, never a problem, I keep coming back every year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, ideal for basic tax situations
What's not so great: I don't know, probably not so ideal for complex tax situations, not my case for now
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

deduction
on March 26, 2014

Please provide an explanation why some deductions are not fully deductible. Hopefully this information can be given immediately after the deduction category is completed. I know you follow the IRS rules, but I don't want to take the time to look up the IRS information. For example, I imputed a total of $22,000 in deductions but TurboTax suggested I take the standard deduction of $14,400. I would be comforting to me to know what portion of each segement does or does not meet IRS deduction guidelines. May be TurboTax MUST compute all data first before suggesting taking a standard deduction, as in my case, but I would like to know why that was so by understanding what percentage of donations were accepted and what percentage of donations were accepted.

I down loaded data from Fund account (NOT a Brokarage ac.) and it Listed all funds instead off Brokarage co name.
What's great about it: Downloading data from Financial Institutions was a BREEZE !!!!!!!!!!
What's not so great: Downloading dividend data from Fund Account account was strange.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
