Turbo Tax rules

I have used Turbo Tax for years and for me it is the only way to go. I had to amend to previous returns and it was fast and accurate wit Turbo Tax.

2013 Turbo tax, easy

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It makes the process easy. It leads you to the next topic to input your information. There are also help topics where you can enter questions or look at other's questions to get advise. Turbo tax uses easy to understand language for those of us who do not speak taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo tax walks you through the tax process easily

Great program, easy to use. The more you use it, the easier it gets. Especially when you can import all of your information from last year to the current year.

Turbo Tax is so much better than my prior experiences with Tax Cut. Accurate, quick and easy!

I have been a Turbo Tax user for many years and think it is a wonderful product. The only area that I would like to see improved would be in the area of estimated taxes. First , the gathering of information is not straight forward and doesn't follow the tax return. Second, if you file a state tax return, you must re-enter your estimates into the state tax estimator rather than transfer it from your estimated tax work on the federal return.

More cumbersome to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 10 years. Each year, I provide Turbo Tax with suggestions to improve their product, but i never see any of the suggestions implemented. Navigation is difficult; it is hard to return to area to make edits or adjustments since they were skipped. Filing electronically has increased in price in addition to the increase in the Turbo Tax software. Filing should be included in the price of the Turbo Tax software. On line support is inadequate and there is no customer support number provided to call for assistance. I will be evaluating using another solution next year.
What's great about it: Fast calculations
What's not so great: Expensive to file electronically, not easy to navigate or return to items skipped. Unable to open last year's returns

LOVE IT ...been using it for several years now, saves me money in tax prep.
