Another good year with TurboTax

Tax return preparation is never pleasurable but I believe TurboTax makes the process as easy as possible.
What's great about it: Ease of use, confidence in accuracy

Very well done. Tiny incremental steps for the walk through.
It would be nice to somehow see a map of all the forms.
Then just be able to click on the one you want to print or review.
Then just be able to click on the one you want to print or review.
Want e-file for state to be easier to access. Usually get a refund from the state so want to file state first.
What's great about it: Step by step
What's not so great: E-file for state not easy to access. Wanted to file state first because we usually get a refund but have to pay Fed.

Easy

I have used for years. I found this year a little harder because of doing part year resident. It was not easy to understand. If I had not bought it already I would not have done it this time. Next I am sure will be better
What's great about it: Ask all important questions
What's not so great: Hard to understand some parts

Taxes Made Easy

I've been using TurboTax for years but this year I had numerous big changes - got married, switched a house to rental, received an inheritance. I was ready to pay someone to do my return but given my past history with Turbo Tax I decided to try it first.. It worked like a charm and no stress working through it!
What's great about it: Easy to follow Step By Step, but also easy to switch to Let me choose made and switch back again
What's not so great: Nothing worth mentioning

This Turbo Tax Deluxe Software was very easy to use. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years now and would highly recommend it to others.
What's great about it: Makes things real simple
What's not so great: make both state and federal fileing free

Sorry expierence

Having a lot of trouble e-filing. Program won't let me submit and get a pin #. I had never experienced this before, and I have used TURBO TAX for several years.
What's great about it: nice to use

TurboTax makes doing taxes fun

I've used TurboTax for several years now. It is a wonderful product that makes filing taxes a breeze.
Over the last 12 years...I've used TurboTax 10 out last 12 times. I've only used outside assistance on years where a significant change happened in my life (one year started a partnership and the other year when my wife and I got married).
My favorite feature is that the previous years taxes carry forward. Furthermore, it's even more beneficial to be able to compare differences between the current and prior year...just for checks and balances....and peace of mind.
Excellent product!! I highly recommend using it!!

2014 was a bit easier

Turbo did it again for me. have used Intuit for many years (how many???) I appreciate the improvements. i have many friends that say "I let someone else handle it" but I find Turbo to be so convenient and easy to use that i come back year after year even as my tax situation gets a bit more complex each year!
What's great about it: pulled most of my 2012 info; interviews seemed easier; did not hang up
What's not so great: still hard to go back to a specific question
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
