Overall the experience was positive. No unnecessary detours, although I went through the checklist instead of answering all each question in the interview. I guess the interview helps first-timers, so no complaints about how repetitive it seems.
The instructions for filling out form 1116 were funky. Why should I have to figure out which amounts arr largest and enter them in first? Couldn't TT do that? It's a computer program! When the completion process didn't go well even though I thought I followed the instructions to the letter, it was a real pain to get rid of the bad 1116 and go through the process again. I wen to forms and it took a bit of experimenting to figure out how to delete it. Strangely, after I did, it never showed up in the forms list again, even after I got it filled out properly.

Easy and Comprehensive

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years, for myself and other family members, and have been very pleased with the product and the results.
This year I accidentally downloaded the Online version which didn't auto update my informaton from last year and was more expensive. I found the website very confusing.
Hopefully, this will be resolved for next year.

What's great about it: Easy to use; Step-by-Step Guidance; Help and Information available on every screen; Auto transfer of previous year data.
What's not so great: Easy to accidentally use the Online version - not my favorite

2013 Taxes Done!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it very easy to use because of the very clear, step by step instructions. I have never used any other tax program so I have nothing to compare to. I will use Turbo Tax again next year.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions make it easy to enter info." Help" boxes are easy to understand.
What's not so great: The old programs had more opportunities to click on "Save"

Easy return!

Product gets better and better this year. This year there were no math errors and all data moved along smoothly as I made my edits.
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions with data transferred over from last year.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It’s Getting Easier And Easier

Been using TurboTax for years and years.... I don't see why I would ever stop. To all of the little and big tax shops I used in my earlier years... Bye Bye.
