Final steps could be improved

E-file comes before review. That doesn't seem logical and is confusing. If you choose to e-file federal and mail state, it is very easy to skip right over the step for printing the state return. It asks is you want to "print" a preview copy and then generates a PDF. If you print the state copy before you get to the "print to mail" step, it omits the direct deposit information.

would not except my nickname (HJ) that is what it has been all my life.

What's not so great: could not find out if flood insurance was a tax write off

Only two change suggestions

TurboTax is a good and effective system. Two suggestions:
When entering dates, say for charitable donations, let us use the format 3/16 for donations in the relevant year. So for this year's forms any of

would be the same, while

would be for 1998.
A second suggestion: When finishing off it just likes to print our forms. It would be good to have a 1-click that lets us back up everything (forms and the .tax file) to a CD/DVD, rather than making us do that manually.

I have used the Deluxe version for several years and have complete confidence in the accuracy of my return.
What's great about it: it is really simple and much cheaper than paying someone
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick & Easy!

Quick & easy! just have your info ready & Turbo Tax does the figuring. It gives suggestions & recommendations, but you remain in charge. It doesn't time out on you, which is great when you have other chores to do as well.

Love this product. Unfortunately the website had issues with my credit card, for some reason it would not accept it. Hopped on the phone and after they got my information, transferred me right away to someone who could help me. Not only was the customer service excellent, they rewarded me with filing my taxes for free!! Just wanted to say thanks to Demi, the rep that helped me and to Intuit for making my life a little easier today!!
What's great about it: Excellent customer service, could not have asked for better
What's not so great: Website would not process my credit card to pay for state filing

Integration with Online

I have the disc version for 2013 and wanted to use last years numbers from my online account but couldn't figure out how to to it. I was forced to dig out my old (paper) forms and manually input last years figures.
Perhaps you could provide a link between the disc version and the corresponding online accounts.
What's great about it: Makes it easy to compute taxes
What's not so great: Doesn't seem to talk to Turbo Tax Online version
