Excellent refund

Turbo Tax is a great product. I especially loved the ADP feature.

Last time with Turbo Tax

Deluxe version did not include Schedule C. Charged twice for state since needed to file 2 returns. Wanted still more $$$ to eFile with state. Then it did not even have all the state forms I needed so had to fill out paper anyway! Charged a premium again for waiting until late in the filing season. Mac version crashed and I had to reinstall, tinker with plist files. Will not use Turbo Tax again.

Have used Turbo Tax for years. Once you use it and go through it once, it is very useful in completing subsequent returns as it uploads information from your previous return and lets you update only what you need. It looks for errors and gives you an IRS probability for an audit. E:file or print and mail your returns. Your choice. Nice and easy, just the way we like it.
What's great about it: Very easy and user friendly. Reasonably priced when compared to tax preparers.

The IRS code is incredibly jumbled. I got tired of trying to keep up with the poorly written rules and instructions. Always concerned about not carrying figures forward to required entry points and the opportunity to make math errors when completing a return by hand. The cost of the license is very reasonable in that it takes the stress out of a very painful annual experience!
What's great about it: Q & A method assures nothing is missed. IRS code is always changing.
What's not so great: E-Filing fees should be included in software price.

I've used Turbo Tax for at least 15 or more years, and each year it seems to get better!
What's great about it: Clear instructions and helpful advice
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
