TurboTax is GREAT!

So much easier to use than the H&R Block which I used last year. I used TurboTax in 2011 and then in 2012 I bought the H&R Block Tax, I was very disappointed and confused when I filed my taxes. This year 2013 I went back to the TurboTax and was again very pleased. In less than 5 hours it was totally done and the e-file was sent. Thank You.
What's great about it: Very user friendly.
What's not so great: Not any.

I've put it off and put it off. I knew I didn't need an accountant to do my taxes this year as it was very straight forward. Thank you Turbo Tax for helping me GET IT DONE!!!
What's great about it: Very easy-step by step, so much done for you

Taxes Complete! (38 pages!)

I have been using this for many years. It works great. As my tax situation has gotten more complicated, TurboTax has kept up. The interview process is getting klunkier and getting to the specifics that I need to do is getting more difficult but overall it is a good experience. Comparing it to last year's numbers in each category really helped as my wife noticed a big difference in one area. (Gotta get the decimals in the right place!). Good program. Gonna get it again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. Used lots of last years info.
What's not so great: My K-1 form was very difficult
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Superior program for less than complex returns. I really like that way one can up load data from investment firms directly to the program. This saves lots of time and tedious data entry.
My only warning is to review the data yourself so you won't be surprised by issues the following year, such as not having sufficient withholding.

What's great about it: This program does not make mistakes and for most returns is the most economical method of computation.
What's not so great: The program did not warn me that my Capital Loss carry forward was almost at 0 and I didn't look last year so I'm paying

Extremely happy

I have used Turbo Tax for the last several years. It has been wonderful to sit in the comfort of my home and complete my taxes. In the past I sat in a very cold environment being asked all the same question that are in the Turbo Tax program. They keep it current and improve the program each year. Thank you for allowing me to stay at home in my comfortable chair and complete my taxes. Great Job!
What's great about it: The ease of program. All questions I had, were answered in the program.

I'm a tax professional, and I really like how thorough the program was when it came to doing my personal taxes. Our return is complicated, but Turbo Tax made it much easier than even some professional software. And at a great bargain.
What's great about it: Step by step made it so I didn't forget anything

My 2013 Tax Preparation Experience

My partner did the taxes and all went without a hitch. He did both his and mine today. The Federal has been electronically sent and the State will go out tomorrow.
