Love Turbo Tax

Love all the checks and balances.
What's great about it: easy to follow instruction, can come back at any time, saves all information
What's not so great: My own insecurities! Next year will be the fourth so should be great!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

this was honestly the easiest thing ever, this was my first year of filing my taxes on my own and turbo tax made it so easy and straight forward. Loved it and will use again!
What's great about it: fast, easy, reliable, AWESOME! definitely using next year

What's great about it: very easy to use amd very helpful people customer support agent:05_Jonalyn B
What's not so great: on the box it wasnt very clear of having to pay for state e filing which is very confusing

Long Time Customer still Delighted

I've been using TurboTax for at least 30 years. It has never "messed me up"!. In my younger years I had extremely complex returns, with several businesses, oil wells, you name it. The system always worked for me, easing me through the input with a minimum of effort. Today I am a retiree with a much simpler return, and TurboTax makes my life even easier. Keep up the good work. P.S. I spent over 40 years in a software development career -- at one time considering an opportunity with TurboTax. I always wondered how fun that might have been -- but of course I did other fun things too. You guys are great!!!

Over 10 Year customer viewpoint of TurboTax 2013..

The final summary comparing 2012 taxes/refunds to 2013 taxes/refunds appeared to be making a even, $1000.00 refund error. even the TT Customer Service Rep thought so as well (His name was Daniel). A TT CPA finally figured out after 90 minutes on this call that indeed, the refund amount was correct and the back-end calculation the IRS did this year made all of this detail very confusing and not obvious at all. I was satisfied with the outcome.
Note: I was initially on hold for 14 minutes which really was a few minutes shy of 30 minutes on hold. Then I spoke to a TT Customer Support Rep with some detail to my issue. About 10 minutes into the conversations she asked me, is this a MAc or a PC computer? I said it was a Mac. She then stopped me and told me she would transfer me to the Mac side of Customer Support and I may be on hold. I was for a few minutes on Hold then Daniel came on. Daniel seemed unaware of this issue, so late in the tax season. Might help your support to run key issues Users might be experiencing to aid Customer support in having some idea's of what to explain to TT customers to minimize a very labor-intensive & long process for what probably was a relatively simple issue to explain. I will use TT next year but expect a much smoother software experience as my past years have been. Thank you.
What's great about it: As usual, had my DVD copy mailed to my home from ordering it the year before. Same great program...except....
What's not so great: The final Refund calculation was too simplified.

Could be better

It’s ridiculous that I have to enter the same data three times in order to file Federal and state returns for myself and my partner, who are registered domestic partners in California. There’s no reason why I shouldn’t be able to enter the data for each of us once and the program can create the necessary returns for filing.
What's great about it: Ease of data entry
What's not so great: Doesn’t handle domestic partnership returns very well
