2013 Turbo Tax Deluxe

When doing an error check of the return, it isn't enough to indicate that some line on a worksheet is wrong. You either need to have instruction on how and where to correct this. I had a simple thing like the title of a stock was too long and it wouldn't let me send my state return. It flagged the dividend worksheet but what I finally figured out was that you had to go to the original entry and change that, not just edit (override) the worksheet. Not very INTUITive...
What's great about it: Easy if you know Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Errors are not made clear, nor is it made clear on how to fix them

What's great about it: telephone support on Sunday night was really helpful
What's not so great: Repeated failures to sign in at every possible opportunity to move forward

I've actually enjoyed doing my taxes as I watch the tab turn from red to green is a great feeling!
What's great about it: Better return than when I did it myself
What's not so great: Nothing major that I can think of

Had a very hard time trying to figure out why I couldn't download my free state tax. Phone expert very patient and helpful. Now I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to print and save this year's return from the pdf. file. I'm sure it's simple but I just can't seem to get it.
What's great about it: phone support very patient and a great help
What's not so great: there must be an easier way to maneuver through the filing system for seniors who aren't computer savvy.

if you go carefully through the program steps you can't go wrong.
i would like to see a 1040 form screen with the option to go to the program step to change a particular line entry.
example: i wanted to apply my refund to next yrs taxes. i missed that option in the first go round and had trouble finding it for revision.
What's great about it: fast, accurate, no hassle. the following yr is easy with past yr info auto importing.
What's not so great: it takes an effort to go back and find missed input screen.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. It is so easy to use and guides you step by step all the way through. I have never had a problem with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: so easy to use Turbo Tax, walks you through it
What's not so great: n/a
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

i've used turbo tax for years and love it. i will say the only con is the same one i had last year.......turbo tax: get with the times and accept pay pal.
What's great about it: exports any info you'll need, asks questions you don't know you need to ask
What's not so great: does not accept paypal for payment of state filings
