Excellent

The analytics really caused our return to be nearly 100% higher this year compared to last year - reason being that we now have a kid in college and were able to take credits that we didn't know about.
As a result, I am actually redoing our 2012 taxes with Turbo tax to see if I can claim other credits/deductions that I didn't know about.
What's great about it: It really saved us a lot of money compared to how we did it last year
What's not so great: Some of the reports weren't fully functional when the software came out

Awesome As Always. . . Just One Thing

Once again this year I had to do a bit of my own research online in order to make certain that I was doing the correct thing when it came to questions about earned income when my spouse and I live in two different states. Basically, the question is always unclear when it asks to enter the amount of income earned while in/outside of the primary state. The software does not allow the user to separate how much was earned by one spouse in one state and how much was earned by the other in another state. This would be helpful. It would also be helpful to have the software help to determine whether the spouses live in community property states and then to allow the user to decide how to proceed from there. With the questions being so limited and worded as they are, it makes it very easy to make a huge mistake and end up getting way too much of a refund. . . risking an audit and owing big later.
What's great about it: Ease of Use and Detailed Explanations
What's not so great: Unclear Interview Re: MFJ Living in Different States

Best service EVER!!!!!

Love this service. Been using for many years and couldn't be happier.
Had a few years returns checked by another tax service and they could not find one extra dollar in additional refund money.
The cost of the software is the best money I spend each year. I will be a customer for life. Highly recommend this product.
What's great about it: easy to follow and all questions answered as I wnt along

Ive used TT for about ten years now but the glitches were not cool. i could have missed something if i was not a long time user.
submiting this review was more painful than using TT!
What's great about it: good as usual
What's not so great: there were glitches where pages were skipped and I had to back up to fill in forms. Very unusual for TT.

Taxes Completed!!

Turbo tax takes me to all the items (via of questions) that are necessary to fill-out my federal tax return (completely and thoroughly); Turbo tax does the math on all my entered figures so I don't need to concern myself with math errors; Turbo tax completes all the federal forms necessary for my return; Turbo tax gives me the option of filing electronically so no further work or time is required of me upon completion; Turbo tax allows me to work on a return in stages giving easy return to where I left off when I had to end last sitting; Turbo tax gives "Help" tabs so when I have questions or doubts on items, I can refer to them for quick answers.
What's great about it: Several items that keep me using TURBO Tax; first, It does the Math; Second, It knows all the quesions to ask.

Turbo Tax Comes Through Again!

I'm very pleased with Turbo Tax for making a painful experience more rewarding. I download my previous returns automatically, whip through numerous return pages with relative ease and file my returns electronically. Well done, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: All forms automatically filled in, auto updates from last return
What's not so great: Finding rollover info for 1099 Div (rolled over IRA) was challenging
