Great tax program

Been using Turbo Tax since 1991. Always relied upon its accuracy and have never been audited.

The Michigan return used to have the ability to click on deductions for giving to food banks schools etc. this is missing...We need it back!

Quicker Than You Think

The software is very easy to use and asks all the right questions and allows you to skip the ones that have nothing to do with you.
What's great about it: Easy questions and thorough

2013 taxes

The only problem was that after I fixed all errors and the system said it was error-free and I went to print it, it said there were errors. I went back and did it again and got the same result. I have asked the help service why this happened.

Better Than I Thought

I enjoyed using this instead of having to sit in an office for long periods to be waited on. It allows you to complete the forms at your own pace.
What's great about it: Extemely comprehesive, relatively quick
What's not so great: No real cons, just make sure you have all your paperwork available

Does the job

Some of the "investment" catagories were not clear to me. Don't know if this is TurboTax's fault or the investment house that didn't give me the info. So, T/T would ask me a question, and I was not sure what the right answer was. But I guess, and I have been doing the same thing for several years and the IRS has yet to complain. So I'm happy.
What's great about it: Knows what to do with the various forms I get.
What's not so great: I do have to pay attention and stay awake.

passive losses may be offset by passive income. Turbo tax did not allow this. I had the same problem last year ( 2012 taxes).
Seems tro me that Turbo tax ought to be able to make the state adjustments without asking the filer for the info - turbo has the info.
What's great about it: calculations are done so very quickly, AWESOME in that way
What's not so great: did not treat passive losses correctly. Minnesota was tedious, when it should have been easy adjustments for turbo tax
