Great Product

I love the download of my stock sales information. This used to take hours and now takes about one second! I like that standard information about my wife and me is retained and that TurboTax asks about whether previous year's data sources are still in force.
What's great about it: Easy, doesn't miss anything, and does all calculations
What's not so great: Minor and not worth mentioning.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great but finding some things is tough

I tried to change how my refund for the fed and state taxes was to be used before I e-filed. It took a lot of time and effort. I used every tool available before finding somewhat satisfactory answer for the feds. The state's was much more subtle and not very intuitive. No help from TurboTax.
Other than that it went smoothly
What's great about it: convenient, fairly thorough
What's not so great: hard to find certain items

Always outstanding!!!

Easy to use, especially as the years go by and it can automatically access your previous filings and fill in information for you. I especially like all the help and further information guides that you can click on if you don't understand a term or can't decide which situation applies to you. The only minor problem I encountered is that this year when I loaded my program from disc I was not prompted to search for updates and the program did not automatically search for updates when it launched. I think it did this in previous years, but this year I wasted a few days waiting for a form that was unavailable, then found out I only had to update my software to get the revised form. (Instead of suggesting that I check for updates the program prompted me to sign up for email updates that would alert me when the form was available. I never got an email, I guess because the form was already available in the latest update.)
So my only suggestion is that the software should receive updates automatically each time it is launched.

Used Turbo Tax now 6 years

I really like Turbo Tax and have used it 6 years or more. I feel confident the return is calculated accurately. My only problem is submitting Gas Royalty Expenses. Once I figure it out, its
easy. I just can't remember from one year to the next how I do it. Maybe more instruction would be helpful.
