Easy - Accurate - Fast

I greatly appreciate being able to receive the TurboTax program each year automatically. Also to be able to transfer all the information from the previous years tax reports is quick and seamless and accurate. To have current carryover schedules and depreciation schedule is very beneficial. The worst part is collecting and organizing all the paperwork to enter the figures in the correct schedules. Actual entering the numbers is a breeze. Highly recommended that you get your copy of TurboTax and use it every year.

Good product but could be easier to use

I had two issues:
1) The handling of MLP K-1's is not straight forward. I needed to add explanations of entries on form 1116 which were completed by the program and thus I had little insight into what the explanation should be.
2) The online payment feature for the state return did not work and the back up procedure eventually worked by required more effort than it should have.

Great again

Great as usual. Don't know of they fixed the reporting of short sales area where the date the stock was purchased is later than the sold date and turbotax kicks it out as an error. I got a little stressed when it wouldn't let me do the sales tax deduction because it was awaiting IRS changes even though I was doing the return in late march several months after the changes were made. TurboTax should look for updates before you even start the return, not only after you've finished with incomplete info.
What's great about it: step by step easy and being able to import acct info helps
What's not so great: didnt update the latest forms until after i got to the end

Trouble with an address in a foreign country

During the review the program would not recognize an address on the W-2 from a foreign country. It kept requiring a state and zip code entry even though it recognized it was an address from a foreign country. It finally required an update which cleared the problem. I couldn't see a way to contact customer support to help resolve the problem.
What's great about it: Smooth transfer from previous years

2014 Taxes

This program walked me through with ease and confidence the most complicated tax return I have ever had to file. There was no undue stress or anxiety. I have confidence in the TurboTax product to be accurate and safe.

I e filed fed but can't print PA state to mail and while I get a refund it doesn't cover the cost
