Ease of use

I would like to be able to review my return without the program taking me through the forms again when I have already entered the information.
What's great about it: I don' have to know all of the forms. I can just enter the income and deductions.
What's not so great: Navigation. i want to be able to navigate to forms and review entries without having to go thru info already entered.

Turbo Tax walks you through each step. Makes me feel confident that I didn't miss anything.
What's great about it: Very straight-forward and easy to use.
What's not so great: Seems to get more expensive every year.

Four years and still poor compatibility with Win 7

If you are running Windows 7 home edition, you can't run XP compatibility, therefore you may run into issues with Turbotax's lousy, outdated software.
Don't worry, they're cry and complain and say it's your .NET framework compatibility and how it must be corrupted. Don't worry, it's not. They just refuse to put more work into updating their outdated software for better compatibility with anything newer than XP.
I'm done with Turbotax.

Awesome Tax Software

I have been using the software for the last 10 years of filing my taxes. I appreeciate the connectivity and interface with the state taxes (multiple) in some situations. The sub-tier screens for the supporting detail, help retain valuable detail records for the summarized values.
What's great about it: User Friendly, good supporting detail screens
What's not so great: Sometimes slow on the startup.

You make doing my taxes easy!

I never thought I could do my own taxes, but Turbo Tax makes is so easy. Each year it gets easier, because you can import your information from the year before, and you improve it each year.
What's great about it: Importing last years taxes and walking me through everything.
What's not so great: Not your fault when tax form instructions are rediculous and nebulous.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 Turbotax STINKS

In past year Turbotax went to last years tax record stored on my computer and used all the previos information to complete all personnal information and forwarded any of last years tax data that is needed to complete this years return. I had to researh for ddthe date and complete my personal information by hand.
I took twice as long to file this years return. If Turbotax follows the same format next year, i will Not be filing with Turbotax!.
