Tax return in less than 2 hours!

Have been using Turbo tax for the last 6 years, wish I had used it years ago. Paper version would take hours to fill out because of all the tax jargon. Turbo tax is simple to use, just follow the steps and in less than two hours you are completely done and very likely with a refund due! All forms should be as simple to navigate! Perhaps Turbo Tax could fix the national debt? Keep up the great support. Many thanks.

Tax Code May Be Complex but TurboTax Makes it Simp

This is about my 10th year using TurboTax and it's the best thing since sliced bread. It makes the horrible Tax Codes very user friendly and easy to understand. Much of the detail entered once is then carried over to future years for updating.
What's great about it: Information carryover from previous years, simple to understand & follow, very user friendly
What's not so great: Can't think of any!

i've been doing my own taxes for years with turbo tax. the program is simple, straight forward, and I'm usually done with my taxes within an hour.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Not your best year

Lots of readings before questions, questions in confusing order.
e-file - the text boxes for First Last name confirmations on my system look like a single set of boxes. Not a double, so I kept trying all kinds of versions of my name - of course I was doing all that in the first name box. PUT OUTLINE around these two boxes please.
Been using TurboTax forever - this year was not your best.
What's great about it: Does a good job
What's not so great: compared to some previous years, this year harder to understand, lots more to read and more wasted clicks

Easy as Pie

TurboTax made doing my taxes so easy. it leads you through each step and lets you know if you missed something or something doesn't add up. The easiest part was pulling information from last year's returns, although I did have them handy just in case. I had some difficulty with TurboTax last year, but this year was a piece of cake.
What's great about it: pulls from previous year tax return
What's not so great: slow to load initially

Mostly Good

I realize LLC's are complicated from a tax perspective but a little more help would make it easier. At one point I entered some data and was told that this data might need to be entered elsewhere. It did not say where and I was not prompted anywhere to enter it. I only found out that there was an error after I tried to transmit the return. It took at least an hour to figure out what was needed and where to put it.
What's great about it: 95% of my return went smoothly
What's not so great: Entering the data for a K-1 form took several tries before I got all the information in the right places.

Stick with what works - consistently!

Turbo Tax has been my choice for many years. I've always felt comfortably reassured that the program will safely work to my advantage at both the federal and state tax levels. Tough questions can be answered via the embedded links to both Intuit experts and government tax sites. Turbo Tax instills confidence in handling this annual chore. Thanks, Intuit.
What's great about it: Ease of use, helpful guidance, up-to-date
