Great

Very very simple to use yet thoroughly addressed all areas applicable to me. It also provided me a sense of relief that my returns are correct.
What's great about it: Easily walked me through areas I didn't know would or wouldn't apply to me.
What's not so great: Didn't have "explain" or "more details" links on a confusing change in the State return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Oregon state taxes

Note Oregon Turbotax. it is easy to go down through all the deduction and enter 0. But if you enter 0 on lines 84 and 85 it will show up as an error. Your should prevent entering a number (v. letter) so you do not have to go back and figure out what you did wrong.
You need to provide places to do the calculations for determining Oregon wages vs total wages. Example. If you work out of state, and have furlough wages, sick leave, annual leave or credit hrs the wages from these hours are not considered Oregon wages. In realty, the way Oregon figures this is days actually worked in Oregon/Days worked everywhere x total wages earned.
What's not so great: the fact that 2013 turbotax for Oregon is so much easier than previous years.

A positive experience

I feel like I should go buy an oyster float or something. I would like to know more about these crazy deductions because I am out of the loop. Are there any other deductions that may suit the common folk that can help in future years? I will be using TT, I liked it very much.
What's great about it: It was much better using TT this year, especially because I didn't have to find my AGI. The quick PIN was a big plus.
What's not so great: I wish I could use more of the deductions listed, they are really strange. I just don't get it, am I missing something?

Copy and Paste My Taxes

This year's tax process was relatively painless thanks to Turbo. My W-2 was auto-loaded, which saved me time and eye-strain. Also, I was able to do a side-by-side comparison versus last year to ensure my deductions and payments were in-line.
What's great about it: Data auto-loaded into this year's return
What's not so great: Needed more coaching to tell me if some college education deductions were within the realm of reason.

Love This Program

I am not comfortable or good with computers and I have been able to do this program for the last four years. I have not found a problem that the program doesn't walk you through. I actually look forward to tax time now!!
What's great about it: It's easy enough, I could do it!
What's not so great: Haven't found any yet - after 4 years!

Made taxes filing easy!

Used for years and would not use anything else. Turbo Tax makes any of us able to handle simple and complex tax returns!
What's great about it: Ease of use, and quickness.
What's not so great: Dealing with Death of Mother forms

Options

I am very Please with the process. I used the Deluxe edition for home use. I see when e-file federal I had the option of direct deposit. But when I chose to us the mailing option for state it automatically X the debit card option for VA refund. Also In the mailing instruction for Virginia Tax return, when you print out the forms, does not say anything about attaching the W-2 Forms with the other forms before mailing.
What's great about it: Have many added features to help you through the process.
What's not so great: Unable to do direct deposit on state refund when mailing forms in.

Great Product

I have always used Turbotax for filing my federal and state taxes. I think Turbotax is the best product available for filing your taxes. I strongly recommend everyone to use this product.
