Need for a more detailed explanations with concrete examples in the section on Medical Deductions. There is a need for more explanations between the different options (HSA, MSA, etc..)
What's great about it: Very good navigation through the different sections, with nice format and graphics
What's not so great: Need for more numerical examples in the deductions sections.

Knocked It Out Refund

Turbo-Tax is easy to follow and makes the return easy and quick. I have used Turbo-Tax for many years, and feel that I get the maximum refund or lowest tax bill possible. I would recommend to anyone whom would attempt to do their own taxes.
What's great about it: Easy step by step help
What's not so great: Some explanations not too clear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

If you have all the tax forms at the ready, the process is smooth and relatively quick.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax took me step by-step through the entire process and I felt that no area was left uncovered.

Easy Tax Return, Easier on Your Pocket

I've been using Turbo Tax for quite a number of years since my accountant retired. Tried many other services but none to my liking until I decided to give Turbo Tax a try. That was 5 years ago and I can say that for a fraction of what I was paying for the service, I am a very satisfied customer. I recommend this to anyone.
What's great about it: Easy self explanatory features.
What's not so great: Wish for side-by-side comparison from prior year.

I had to start form scratch on the software version. Didn't know how to transfer from Turbo Tax online from previous years.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Wish I could have transferred data from previous years that I did on Turbo Tax online to the software version.

Good program - does what it needs to do. The tax code is such a mess that having this program to help guide one through the process is quite helpful. As the program - and Intuit's web site - get "better" I long for the simplicity of the good ol' days.
What's great about it: Beats a tax preparer
What's not so great: Doing taxes - ugh!
