I find this was easier to use and install. It was fairly easy to install and to go back and forth between the paper setup and back to TT setup when correcting or checking up on problems. Being able to see where the inputs were going and making the changes as needed is helpful to know. So having both the TT interface and showing where each information goes helps to know how the fields are filled and the help menu goes along way to give more help when needed. The feature I liked most is being able to go directly or switch back and forth to the paper form and back to input more info if needed.
What's great about it: Fairy straight forward in usage and updates

Updates agony

This time the e-filing transmission failed twice because some final update had yet to be installed, even though I took all the time necessary just 3 hours earlier to install the updates. Thus I assumed that "it couldn't be more updates" and I thought I was going to have to file by mail after doing all that other including paying for the state filing, etc. I tried to quit Turbo Tax and then found another update proceeding. At that point the file reopened and all went fine as it usually does. I would give a 5 star rating except that I wish this updating issue could be sorted out somehow -- everytime I open the document I'm working on, I have to plan on updates needing to download (and make sure that other devices in the house are not using up bandwidth or it takes far to long on a DSL line).
What's great about it: 5 Stars rating except for one issue...

Great program. It has made filing taxes easy for the past few years. I will continue to use it year after year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, fast, reliable
What's not so great: If there are errors you have to go find them yourself
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Generally a Good Product

This is the 2nd year that I could not get TurboTax to import my W-2s. Possible they are not available (but I think they are), but I don't get any messages. When I go to Import, select my (incomplete) W-2, it takes me to the screen to manually fill it out. Seems like it should take me to the import screen and give me a message if it can't find the data. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.
What's great about it: Dual approaches for completing data; logical organization
What's not so great: Import facility needs improvement

Would like to be able to choose which return to e-file vs mail. Seems like it is all or nothing?
