Confusion

For some reason lacking proper explanation, I had to go all the way back and reconstruct my fed tax return in order to graduate to state, then complete the filing process. Maybe you can track and see what exactly the glitch was. But it was frustrating to this customer.
What's great about it: Intuitive
What's not so great: Had to redo for some explainable reason

Used Turbo Tax and others for many years and this year went better than any I recall.
What's great about it: Very good tax program.
What's not so great: Excess cost for efile of state return

EASY PEASY

All in all I could not believe how easy it was. I had not done my own taxes in the last four years. I kept putting it off and really dreading it. However, I was actually very surprised how easy it was to complete not to mention the short amount of time it took. If you have all your paperwork together, the ease of the forms makes one would wonder why you ever took it to a tax preparer!
What's great about it: Easy language to understand what is needed.
What's not so great: The education portion for my child was a bit tougher since she had a scholarship.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Product

For years i did my taxes by hand just fine, but with all the laws and regulations introduced by the IRS, I find it nearly impossible to wade through the pages and pages of forms. Turbo Tax is almost fun (if you get a refund) to use and leaves no excuse for most folks to hire "professionals" to do their taxes. As with anything involving law, if you have real messy tax issues, it is always smart to get some help. I highly recommend Turbo Tax for most retirees, working individuals, small business, and such.
What's great about it: Easy to used and follow steps.
What's not so great: Too many updates coming down the pipes. Do I file early or wait?

Easy to use, fairly quick to complete, good explainations of each item. E-filing is especially easy if you have done it previous years with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Walks me through everything I need to do.

Great Program

Good Program overall.
A little long if you don't have any assets and are a boring return person who owns nothing, makes nothing and has nothing and has no children, home etc.
However, does cover a way to get the best return possible even for the little guy.

What's great about it: Overall user friendly, covers a lot of places for refunds so that you can get your best refund possible.
What's not so great: Some times a little more explanation about items like last years tax refund being income, etc.. would be helpful.
