Has some glitches to bei worked out

Easy File

This is the seventh year of using Turbotax. It's so convenient to be able to sit in the comfort of my home & do my taxes. I can start & stop at anytime to gather other documents if needed, it makes doing taxes fast & simple.
What's great about it: inexpensive & fast

at the end of transmitting..the turbo tax kept saying that I needed to update turbo tax although there were no updates needed. I tried several times...(as I have e-filed for years) I went into the help section and it said to quit turbo tax, shut down computer and re-boot modem. I did that...and it worked...phew! I was almost ready to mail file Ugh
What's great about it: so quick and easy!!!!
What's not so great: Im spoiled..almost needed to mail file..until I restarted my computer and modem

The section on 1099-r for standard defined benefit plans, I think without Required minimum distribution is hard to understand. The rest of the program was great.
What's great about it: Easy to use Walked me through it.
What's not so great: Section on 1099-R difficult to understand

Great Tax software

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and will continue to use it. I like the step by step that really helps to make sure I have everything covered.
My only complaint is that about every other year Turbo Tax does not handle my qualified pension as not taxable. I have to manually correct this! I watch for this mistake so it is not a big deal. Just wish they would get it right.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Walks you through step by step, if you like
What's not so great: Did not handle my pension correctly for the state tax

This is my third year using TurboTax Deluxe and I have found it to be easy to understand and very efficient. This year I needed some help and found the support staff to be very pleasant and very helpful.

So easy and fast

I just filed my taxes. I know the calculations are correct because I did them manually in Excel first.
Thank you TurboTax, can't wait to get my refund!
