A Tremendous Help

TurboTax makes it easy to file my income taxes without professional help. I was guided through the entire process, and if I had doubts, I could go back over it. I liked having TurboTax fill out the various forms, and do the math for me.
What's great about it: All of thework was done for me
What's not so great: I had to go over the whole procedure twice to get answers to my questions

It was difficult to connect to my 3012 Turbo Tax Return and I finally did via assistance from a cvery patient man in your Customer Service Department.
What's great about it: TRANSFERS DATA FROM PRIOR YAR
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

Excellent help!

This is the 3rd year in a row that I've used TurboTax and it's been a great help. No fumbling through IRS booklets or websites. The help function wasn't too helpful. It gave good basic info, but all I wanted to know was where to enter something, not what the something was. However, the problem could have been the way I phrased the question.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, reminded me of things I forgot about
What's not so great: It takes a while to do, but then, any method takes time

Have been using Turbo Tax for several years and it is a wonderful product. Makes preparing and filing taxes easy and fast. Works well on my older laptop and takes the pain out of doing your taxes. Highly recommend!
What's great about it: easy to use, easy to understand, fast, logical
What's not so great: Printing is a little clunky but a minor drawback

Efficient.

Generally very efficient, but there are instances when the program starts to cycle and couldn't get into next step.
What's great about it: Easy directions to follow.
What's not so great: Certain steps/downloads not identified when the process is finished.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've been using Turbo Tax for at least 6 years. I like the coaching you receive as you navigate through your returns. I am also able to import W-2 information and several 1099-Divs. This helps also. I did find this year when I "re-imported" some 1099-Div information it was duplicated on my return. Same Financial Institution and exact same amount - I thought this should have been caught as an error during the review. It was easy to correct and I'm planning on using them again next year.
What's great about it: Information can be imported from prior years
What's not so great: be sure to check your returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

glad turo tax does all the research. I could never keep track of all the loss carryover etc. Will continue to use t..t each year.
