where did the estimated tax form/worksheet go

This product has to be relearned each year. The "seach" is very poor. Trying to find estimated taxes or a comparison of past to present - took several stabs a Q&A. Not nearly as nice as last year.
. Never asked if I wanted to import last years info - not financial info - just general into.
I find that it is a money hound in that I don't need to file a Mo. return - good thing I checked before downloading.

What's great about it: It is getting easier to use but each year is a new beginning.
What's not so great: no flow to estimated takes

very helpful - answered my questions

I have always had a simple return and been able to file on my own. This year I was hit with health expenses and I was able to walk through those deductions easily through this helpful program.
What's great about it: All the forms I needed w/o having to track them down. Helpful links to whats deductions are allowed

Awakening From a 2013 filing nightmare.

We had to call for help because we didn't comprehend which of us the questions referred to. It sometimes used the first name on form to refer to both of us. Call for help was fantastic, Terry answered all our questions and stayed with us to the very end; e-filing and all., including a computer crash, frozen screen, reboot, and successful completion of filling and the payment for state e-filing. I couldn't believe how help helpful Turbo Tax was, including recovering our old account and changing our password. Would that the world and IRS worked as well as Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Personal contact meant everything
What's not so great: The computer forms were unclear about info for each of us.

Overall the program was fairly easy to use, even for those of us who aren't super tax savvy. I'm very upset that I wasn't able to e-file. I continued to get the error message saying I needed to install the latest updates…and after "successful" attempts at installing I was still unable to e-file. I ended up having to print the 45 pages of documents so I can snail mail them to the IRS….not so thrilled...
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: UNABLE TO EFILE!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Easy Does It - Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is hands down the very best. I have used it for many years and wouldn't think of using another product. It is so easy to use and I am always confident in the results. I was especially concerned about 1099B entries this year. Turbo Tax was able to download everything needed directly from the source, quickly and accurately, made it so easy. I would like to see an imrovement in how 1099Rs from pensions are processed. You have to determine if your Retirement Pension from a company is qualified or non-qualified. Most are qualified plans which forces you into working around MRDs (like an IRA) that have no application to retirement pension plans. I was able to work around this problem. By enlarge Turbo Tax is easy to use. Plus, e-fileing is the only way to go...so very easy and fast.
What's great about it: It is so easy to use.
What's not so great: 1099 Rs from a Pension are not so direct.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
