No fuss, easy as falling off a log

The software walks one through the most common tax situations without taking one through the tortuous route of managing the less common situations.
It is simple to fill out the form as one goes along, and inputting all the details that apply to oneself (SSN, address, etc) is as simple as clicking a single button if one has the previous year's files handy.
When one purchases the software for Federal Filing, it includes preparation for a single state. The Federal e-filing is included, but in order to file one's state return, one pays an additional fee.
It may be petty on my part, but I think it should be all inclusive for filing for a single fee.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Added fee for state e-file

I've been using TurboTax for over 10 years and have continued to be happy with the results and accuracy of the product.
What's great about it: Fast, Accurate and dependable

Easier than ever!

I started using Turbo Tax when it was Mac-in-Tax and I've obviously been a happy customer. It's easy and totally up to date with free upgrades. I don't know why anyone would pay to have taxes done!
What's great about it: Great directions and lots of information sources available.
What's not so great: Cost of state e-file convinced me to file by certified -return mail.

Tax software was good, just need to explain where to find your e-file pin number a little better.
What's great about it: Great detailed instructions for filing my taxes
What's not so great: Got a little confused on the e-file pin number, but I went to the IRS website and found my e-file pin number.

Very quick and efficient. Would like to import pdf's that are not supported by software so that all forms can still be filed electronically.

There are a couple of aspects that are a bit difficult to deal with. For example, capital gains/loss and carryovers. I wish that were more straightforward.
What's great about it: Easy to use - in most cases and reasonably priced.
What's not so great: Taxes?
