I have used Turbo Tax for a few years now and find it very easy to use. It guides me through everything and is clear and understandable.

I have used Turbo Tax for years. It is easy to navigate and has built in tabs to explain concerns. I have always felt confident that Turbo Tax has set everything up correctly to file federal and state tax info. A number of years ago, I paid a big tax firm to do my taxes and the errors were ridiculous. Worse, they accepted no responsibility for their faulty work! I will continue to use Turbo Tax.

Overall Good

TurboTax Deluxe 2013 was user-friendly for the most part. I was disappointed that the program did not lead me to the form I needed for demonstrating insolvency for a cancelled debt. If I had not done my research ahead of time, I would not have received a refund, but would have paid instead.
What's great about it: completed forms and checked all required boxes
What's not so great: Did not lead me to Form 982

A big help

Been using TurboTax for about 15 years, upgrading as my life got more complex. It was particularly helpful this year with my change of status, needing a joint form for federal and two individual forms for state (gay marriage).
What's great about it: Lots of FAQ help, caught some errors
What's not so great: Because of two W-2s, requires some odd steps for e-filing

Well worth the investment of time and software

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The step by step system makes the whole process much easier and less stressful.
What's great about it: simple easy to follow instructions

The TurboTax program is very thorough but I think that I may be using an unnecessary version. It would be helpful if the program recommended the best version based on info that I've used in previous years.
