Easy until transmitting

Transmitting was a real problem. Just when you think you have it all done and one more button to push- it doesn't transmit. Needed an update I had already done. Went to help and found info for those with the CD. Emptying trash seemed to help, but that is CRAZY. And you wonder if the whole thing isn't going to just disappear. Major glitch for the money I paid.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: transmitting was difficult

good tax software

Steps the individual through the preparation without too much exposure to IRS speak (jargon). I had previously used Taxcut which was also a good program. I went to Turbo tax to allow down loads of Quicken data. Import of prior years tax information was not as complete as I would have liked but provided adequate information and functions.

What's not so great: embedded upgrade sales pitch is annoying

Great product. The option of using the guide or going through only the items I want is a great time saver. Even with the short cuts you still show me the areas I need to be sure to review.

Awesome for 14th Year Straight!!

Would like more quick access information on some of the employment related expenses. Other than that, everything was perfect as usual. We have used Turbo Tax for 14 consecutive years and the free federal filing is so helpful to our already stretched budget. Thank you for implementing and retaining this incredible perk!
What's great about it: Ability to step through or work on your own
What's not so great: Would like more help on certain deductions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great product! I've used it for years!
One nice upgrade for married people is if Turbo Tax can do an automatic comparative analysis after entering in information filing jointly versus filing separately. Wonder if that could optimize return amount.
What's great about it: Improved navigation and very quick and efficient
What's not so great: I had to enter addresses for the charities after the check unless I missed it when I added them initially.

Great product, Even this year with some moving and dealing with income in multiple states I was able to follow the turbotax instructions to complete my returns.
What's great about it: easy to use, links fed and state
What's not so great: hard to confirm source of calculations, costly to e-file
