Turbo Tax 2013

Very good product. Have used it for three years now and it gets easier each time. I really like how it stores your information for next year and then transfers it onto your next years tax forms. Saves time typing all of that info in.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: Some terms a little different than what I thought they were

After many years still have trouble!

Turbo changes every year to conform to the changes of the law and it makes "improvements" supposedly to make filing easy. Over the years of using Turbo, I learned to skip the interview, go straight to the forms to file. I'd rely on Turbo to do computations.
If you have to file a paper returns Turbo can be a bit tricky to report a foreign earned income and you don't have a W-2. This year Turbo prevented "override" unless you are an e-filer, but it didn't offer an alternative for paper filers how to go about doing it. It took a good amount of time to get around this "can't override" thing. So I'd say, the improvement wasn't necessarily helpful in my case.
Make sure you know how to manually double check everything before filing to make sure Turbo didn't make mistake because Turbo does make mistake even though it clears "errors" before filing. Point in case, it conveniently omitted Form 2555 (FEI) altogether from its "Official Forms to file" (tax year 2012) and got me into considerable trouble with the tax office!
Bottom line, Turbo Tax is okay to use but you got to know what you are doing, what you need to submit, be able to manually double check its computations as well as its final prints.
What's great about it: Go straight to forms, skip the interview, Turbo does the math
What's not so great: When filing online isn't for you Turbo can be tricky

Feedback: open file where left off at close.
What's great about it: Federal was a breeze. State pretty easy. Non resident state very difficult for me for K-1..
What's not so great: Not being an accountant, some of the questions (step by step) were very confusing to me. Forms were easier at times.

Almost Perfect

A problem came up when completing a K-1 and there was foreign income included. I input the foreign country and the data as listed on the K-1 but the review failed. It kept saying to enter the foreign country--which I had already done. I finally went to the tax form and entered the "gross income from all sources" manually and this fixed the problem and the review went through without a problem then. This should have been automatically entered when I entered the various data & answered the questions. This needs to be fixed for next year.
What's great about it: Everything worked well, even handled the K-1's & Limited Partnerships without too many problems.
What's not so great: There seems to be a problem with the software when there is foreign income on a K-1.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Review

I like the fact that it is very thorough and easy to use and understand and it gives helpful references to IRS forms and regulations. I also like how it compares which is the best way to file, using the standard deduction and the itemized one.
What's great about it: Easy to use and like the detailed questions to max my refund.
What's not so great: None

Printing

While the printed file copy is very complete, if there were an option to print selected pages for a file copy, for my purposes that would be adequate.
Current print option is all or nothing (I know you can pick one range)
What's great about it: Everything provided
What's not so great: killing trees
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Tough Slog

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and this year was tough. I had to review several times to get to Teacher expenses, it was hard to pay for the State Tax filing, I got NO confirmation that my Federal was filed, and I was asked for username and password for my email account, but I have on UN nor PW. I would like an account, how do I get one? I have confirmation that my State was filed.
What's great about it: Comprehensive
What's not so great: Hard to Navigate
