Used Turbo Tax for over 15 years. Love it.
What's great about it: as always, easy guide.
What's not so great: import from brokerage-my brokerage house not listed

Trouble

Despite all the best efforts of your support staff, including uninstalling my CD copy of TT Deluxe and substituting the online version, we still could not get it to perform. Frankly, I'm disappointed that Turbotax downgraded the features available on the software I have been using for more than decade. Tax history has always been a feature I rely on to check for consistency in my returns year to year. Not having it was a real pain.
Every time I brought up the function, all it showed me was the information from the current year, despite my having transferred last year's information to this year's TT software.
I'm really disappointed.
What's great about it: Most features performed as usual
What's not so great: In TT Deluxe, the Tax History feature did not perform

I didn't have a 1099-OID, and Vanguard didn't help. I finally just guessed. Otherwise, I like the step by step.
What's great about it: Many questions, and info. retrival.
What's not so great: Corrections or additions were tough.

I have tried everyway to get my PIN numbers and get my returns accepted by the IRS. I used the PIN numbers you provided from last year, then I called the IRS and got new numbers, then I pulled my hard copies of last years TurboTax and checked those PIN numbers. None of those were accepted. Now I can't get it to print me a copy of what I need to send them in myself.
I also brought Quicken 2014 and it has been as much trouble as TurboTax. I am not happy with you right.
What's great about it: RTelling what goes in the blanks.
What's not so great: screw up on PIN numbers.

This the third year at lease that I have used your product. Basically it is very good. The issue occurs when it is time to efile the state return and it won't charge my card and I have to call your help desk for the last 2 years.. They try to help and did take care of the problem. I very much dislike having to this and majorly dislike talking with some whose first language is NOT English.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use
What's not so great: issues with filing state return

Holds your hand through the process

My dad has been using TurboTax to file my taxes for me for the last several years but this year I am on my own and wanted to be able to file myself rather than take it to a company. Without knowing anything, I was able to file completely and accurately because the program literally walks you through every step. I would recommend it to anyone- beginner, pros, individuals, and companies.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use and covers everything
