My refund with TTD2013

My wife, and are using Turbo-Tax Deluxe since 1995 to prepare our joint tax returns. Both being retired, we have simple basic data for our income and expenses. Turbo-Tax keeps up with all updates and with any IRS Tax rule change. We like that feature of the software . We know that we are using the latest tax laws to compute our taxes. We must say, that the software has vastly improved since its first edition. We had always filed taxes my surface mail. This is our first year in e-filing and hope that all will go well.
What's great about it: easy steps and computation
What's not so great: sometimes vague and not clear in "Learn More" links

I have used this program for several years now and am happy with the ease of navigating the program. Some things confuse me but I am able to eventually figure them out. So much easier than doing it by hand.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate most things. I love that info is imported from last year.
What's not so great: Some things are harder to figure where to enter
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I think i appreciated most the ability to 'come and go' in the entry of information. We have used a tax service for years, at five times the cost of TurboTax program. I have an idea of paperwork and information needed from that. I really appreciate the step by step guidance through process of pulling relevant info from that paperwork. I liked the ability to research FAQ and IRS requirements in areas of uncertainty And again, the few days of putting the info together, saved at least a week of processing time for the tax service at a significant savings. We'll be back next year

Why????

Overall good, but the frustration of having to file a TN form when TN does not have an income tax, and then having to pay for it added insult to injury.
What's great about it: Used for a number of successful years--this one was strange.
What's not so great: Why did I have to file a TN state income tax and pay when TN does not have a state income tax. I tried to get out of it

In both the Income and Deductions sections when you finish with one of the individual items and hit "done", the section page returns at the top of the list and you have to drag it down to the "next item" request button. Can't you program the page to open at the bottom of the list or put the "next item" button at the top of the page so you do not have to continuously drag the page down to the bottom????
What's not so great: Income and Deduction sections

Have used Turbo Tax for about 25 years - still satisfied. I think that the Q & A format greatly helps in navigating thru it.
One issue this year was that it missed the fact that I forgot to answer one question on Traditional IRA's, as to whether or not I made any non-deductible contributions. I only caught it during the review when I noticed it did not list any Basis. I went back and entered an answer to the question, then it asked me to enter last years Basis amount. If I hadn't caught it it would have cost me $297. Turbo Tax should not have let me go past the question without giving a "Yes" or "No" answer..
What's great about it: Q & A format helps greatly in navigating thru it.
What's not so great: It overlook one question that I failed to answer. I cought the missing info during "Review". If I didn't catch it,it
