Finally Done

The format is straight forward and easy to use. There should be a "search" feature that automatically inputs amounts for mortgage and property tax information. I think that for as much as you have to pay for Turbo Tax, you should get as many states as you need for free.
What's great about it: Snapshot of last years amounts and deductions right next to this years.
What's not so great: Having to pay for two extra States for which we were only part residents.

What's great about it: I've had problems with my state return in previous years and hope no more this year.
What's not so great: In 2010 you declared retirement income of 10,000,00 for me out of the blue and I was penalized for the deduction you too

easy to follow return

I review this a 10 out of 10. I didn't have a complex tax return, so this was a perfect product for me.
What's great about it: short, concise instructions and step by step walkthrough of the return questions.
What's not so great: Believe it or not, I couldn't find anything I didn't like!

I had a couple of special situations this year and TurboTax addressed them with ease. I loved the software and would use nothing but!

Trouble in TurboTax Land

Mississippi return still not filed, turbo tax says I have 48 mistakes ... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .... but no instructions as to clearing the mess up but to continue to ask me to fill out the same form time after time after time. Could it get any worse??? How??? this MS return still not filed, I have no idea whether it ever will be. both fed and MS returns very poor on investment income, the fed return claims I lost between $19k and $23k last year on investments ... again what a joke. Actual loss was around $3500.
I don't know whether I'll ever use turbotax again.
What's great about it: Very few. Did a little bit for me, but precious little.
What's not so great: I have e-filed the federal return .... maybe it will pass, and I will get a refund. Instructions on investment income n

Quick, comprehensive, guided template for federal and state taxes. TurboTax makes doing taxes almost pleasant.
What's great about it: Last years information is already available. Step by step knowledge of refund amount.
What's not so great: The I know this is taking longer message gets old happening every time
