I have used Turbo Tax for 5 + years and have been very satisfied with the process and outcome. I can do it at my leisure; after a few years, you know what to expect. And because you input the information in, you learn more about taxes: what is acceptable and what it not. It helps you plan better I think. Many people just hand their information to a tax consultant, but have no idea about the taxes process.
What's great about it: This process is painless with turbo tax
What's not so great: If there is a glitch, don't want to pay for the extra service help - this can be expensive.

A few things I wish you would FIX!

When a series of "next" selections are made, the buttons should be in the same place. Repositioning the mouse is annoying.
Please make a clarification in the college expense section at the very start of the section that if an individual can be claimed on their parents tax return they cannot claim the American opportunity credit. The parents do that. Please make it clearer who should include 1099-Q payments in their tax calculations. I assumed the parent, but I think it should have been the child.
The foreign tax credit for foreign tax paid in a mutual fund is too confusing. You make it sound like I need to consider the income deduction instead and that has not been true for 10 years (and its still confusing!)
What's great about it: Loads last year's information, keeps a running tally of my refund
What's not so great: Some of the same mistakes just keep reoccurring

Make It Plainer

It would be much preferable to be able to see the information on the form; e.g., show your itemized deductions on the Schedule A. It is more cumbersome to have to go to Print and Save to see the form. Also, a major irritation is that Its Deductible valuations change from time to time without changing what you have already entered. Then when you import the data, it is different from what is shown when you look at your donation as it was entered. It should also be made much simpler to print your donation info including amounts, values per item, and totals. That is much too cumbersome. Make it comparable to what you can print from Turbo Tax under Print and Save.
What's great about it: You can be guided as much or as little as you want through the steps.
What's not so great: Need to show info on the form. Its Deductible should be consistent.

I think this program is a blessing and a comfort in helping prepare my personal taxes!
Please work on how the software keeps old info on forms even after deleting...
You Rock!!
What's great about it: step by step walk through
What's not so great: tends to keep info previously entered after deleting
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

The last several years in using Turbo Tax was painless. 2013 was difficult to navigate at times. Some areas did not give guidance as to was to do.
What's not so great: Was difficult to go back at times

Could be a better solution to the process of entering interest on municipal bonds purchased in other states. The information I had came from a report from Wells Fargo bank that was called an Enhanced 1099 form. After two of your advisers and 90 minutes on the phone, we were able to enter the interest. It may be that my explanation of the problem was not clear at first. This was new to me and probably a little unique. But your people stayed with me. And I appreciated their help.
What's great about it: TurboTax was to the point, and seemed less wordy this year.
What's not so great: Leading me through deductions when I knew I could never reach the standard deduction.
