Multi State Confusion

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years. A great program and time saver. This year however it was challenging. I was doing my son's taxes. He is a resident in one state and had income in two other states. Very difficult to get info to flow from Federal Forms to all three states. Only way I could resolve this is by letting a very knowledgeable person at TurboTax take control of program and reload programs and manually copy info. I think more attention needs to be paid to multi state type returns.
What's great about it: Excellent way to do taxes
What's not so great: Difficult handling multiple states

Easy and smooth except when it came to the section on "Community Property" which applies to married-filing-separate folks.
At first, TurboTax would not let me e-file as the Community Property forms are not acceptable for e-filing. After a couple of frustrating go-arounds, it let me without me making any changes!
This is not exactly confidence inspiring.

Easier than ever!

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and would not think of using any other tax preparer or software. Very excellent product!!
What's great about it: Very easily walk you through the process of completing taxes with very little difficult.
What's not so great: None.

I have always had an accountant do my taxes but he retired so this year I decided to file myself. Turbo Tax Deluxe was so easy to use. Definitely recommend it and will use it next year too.

Oh So Wonderful!

I love Turbo Tax filing. This is my third year filing using Turbo Tax. It can be time-consuming, but I love the fact that you check and double check for accuracy, and for any questionable entries that might spark an IRS audit. Also, after the IRS accepts the return, you can start looking for your refund within days. I would not mind if you had a separate Deluxe for Fed and State that included the cost at purchase for filing the State return. It would make it easier to file both at the same time without having to pay extra at filing time for State.
What's great about it: Step by step filing and error check after each entry
What's not so great: Addresses required for each and every Charitable Contribution

Turbo Tax is so thorough and yet easy to use. I really felt like I had the guidance I needed in each section.

Refund this year!

I really do love the consistency of format from year to year. However, this year, I did not receive the usual request for updates upon entering the program as have occurred in the past and it led me to waste time and go around in a few circles before I noticed in the help section how to update. Please go back to making the updates as automatic as possible prior to beginning the return.
What's great about it: Consistency and ease of use
What's not so great: Should have automatic updates not request them after the fact
