Very easy to use

This year I used the my deduction from intuit online for my charitable givings and imported it into the program. What a great asset.

Overrides and forms/interview conflicts

I did my taxes as I received documents utilizing primarily the "forms" method. However, when I sometimes transferred to the "interview" method I found that the forms were duplicated, hence it created enough confusion that I ultimately converted back to the interview method.
My greatest disappointment is in the "override" system. Because of the way I do my taxes, there are frequent additions, corrections and overrides. I don't understand why overrides are considered "errors" on the error check. Furthermore I do not understand why they eliminate the possibility of filing the tax return electronically.
Turbo tax was better last year than it was this year, so I am considering going back to the hand created return next year.
Let's add the nickname issue to the list...I made six attempts before it took one....

Taxes made easy

I have been using TurboTax since 2009 and love it. It has served me well. I like that I can go back and change, amend or delete information as I work. I also enjoy being able to stop and start as I need.
What's great about it: So EASY to use!

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years. I find it very thorough and easy to use.
What's great about it: Easyto input data. Remembers last year's info

Very easy to use in that it integrates the federal and state tax return preparation. The step by step approach allows you to focus deeply on each individual topic and then goes as deep as necessary to complete the forms.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and follow.

Easy to file my tax returns

We have used Turbo Tax for the past 4 years. We had used H&R Block software before that. Turbo Tax is much easier to understand, especially if you are not good with computers. The program walks you through the process, and has basic information on most items. You can ask questions on the website if you need more detailed answers. We have also called the help center in the past for additional information on tax questions.
What's great about it: Transfered all information from last year's returns, and transfered federal info to state return. Easy to understand.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was happy with my refund

I was very unhappy that Turbo Tax lost my tax history. I have been filing my taxes since 2007 with Turbo Tax and they lost everything through 2012. I had to begin as a new customer this year and enter everything. What is up with that?
What's great about it: The donations seemed to be easier this year
What's not so great: I was unhappy because TurboTax treated me like a brand new customer.
