Overall, Turbo Tax is great and I have used it for many years. My only complaint for 2013 is that the New York State Return step-by-step instructions did not include the worksheet or questions relating to excludable income, e.g., state pensions, which had been a part of previous years instructions. A new New York State retiree might miss this point in preparing his/her return and find themselves subject to a New York tax due situation.

all excellent except one area

While progressing through the Form 1065 (schedule K-1) I often cannot locate boxes or numbered lines on the form as Turbo asked about. For example, Turbo asked for entries on numbered lines in Section II. My Section II only has alpha lines, A-L. Also, Turbo asked for entries in 13, Line W. I had none but the final check keeps asking for entries???
What's great about it: I enjoyed the e-filing and knowing the latest changes are always included.
What's not so great: Handling Form 1065 is very difficult

I really like that there are short and simply questions and directions to help you complete your taxes quickly and accurately. I've used TurboTax for years now and really like it. However, this year I had one issue and it took a lot to figure it out and resolve it. I did use the online help and it did help me figure out the problem.
What's great about it: Simplified questions that help you finish quickly and accurately
What's not so great: Sometimes you get stuck on one issue and have a hard time resolving it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to follow instructions. Loved the option to copy last year's info into this year's return. Electronic federal and state filing at the same time.

Found my pot o' gold!

Snowed in on St. Patrick's Day after 2 days of 68 degree weather! What to do? Hmmm. Taxes? Reluctantly and with lots of trepidation, I began using Turbo Tax. But when I had finished filling out the forms, low and behold! I found my pot o' gold, or rather green! Thanks Turbo Tax! Not only am I empowered to do my own taxes now, I also found money I didn't know I had!
What's great about it: easy to use, lots of info at my fingertips, made me feel empowered to do it again
