very smooth and thorough process, Took away the anxiety I used to feel when completing the returns by hand on my own. And the personal backup by the technical support people was truly outstanding. They were infinitely patient and knowledgeable.
What's great about it: process was basically a breeze, and the backup personal assistance was excellent
What's not so great: had trouble at the end with getting the fee for State efiling paid, so called for help finally and Trafina was a gem.

I really enjoyed the easy screens and how the questions were easy to answer. I would like the screens to be the same when going back.
What's great about it: Easy Questions for us to Answer
What's not so great: When going back, he wasn't the exact screens
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The Good and Bad

The Bad, State tax help leaves something to be desired. For example the review asked me for an AL MT TY GC. To this date I still don't know what this was and what I needed to put in there. Additionally I had to run the Alabama state tax return twice as the first time nothing imported from the federal side.
The good. Federal seems to get easier every year I use this program. Everything is well explained and the links with help pop ups are greatly appreciated.
What's great about it: Federal is quick and well explained
What's not so great: State tax help leavs something to be desired

Easy Peasy

Each year the process gets easier....if you use the program, it will pull in all the pertinent data from previous years, eliminating the need for lots of extra data entry. Especially helpful for itemized deductions, charitable contributions and stock sales. Go green and save yourself lots or work and time!
