easy and fast

What's great about it: don't have to mess around with tax forms and instructions
What's not so great: typing

We use turbo tax each year and each year it is a new learning experience because you change too much of the format and makes it harder, not easier. I know the laws change and update, and that info is good, but don't tweak your format just to make it look updated. It its better if it looks familiar.
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: Not all forms told you not completed

This is a great program that I have been turning to for the past 6 years or so. I think the price is fair, the installation and updated downloads are easy to manage, tons of great guidance so that even a mathematical knucklehead like myself can succeed. Free filing is pretty groovy. Extra paid services are offered, but not in an irritating, intrusive way.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to import info, easy & free filing
What's not so great: None - love it!

Excellent, even for complicated returns. Mine isn't terribly complicated, but not simple either. I do have rental property, investment income, education expenses and other itemized deductions. Turbo Tax is thorough and complete. Just be sure you answer correctly...

Great package!

Overall very pleased with TurboTax. I have prepared my taxes on employer-provided professional tax software for many years and I was a bit hesitant to go to an off-the-shelf product. I would recommend TurboTax to anyone looking to file a tax return.
What's great about it: Very user friendly, and interview screens were very helpful.
What's not so great: None.

Giving Congress Less To Spend

I've used Turbo Tax for years and on several occassions I have had Tax Accountants run comparisons before sending in my return. They found no errors and were unable to find me additional deductions.
Turbo Tax makes the Tax season less Taxing.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Easy to follow. Accurate
What's not so great: Would have liked to have had more explanation has to what forms to use for none standard income.
