Not quite...but almost like Christmas morning!

Love watching the refund meter spin up....while I wouldn't want to do my taxes everyday for fun, it certainly takes some of the anxiety out of this once-a-year evil necessity! Had an excellent experience with the chat help offered by Turbo Tax...got me the correct download and moving in the right direction before I had a change of heart about doing my taxes today rather than tomorrow....or the day after....
What's great about it: Super easy, thorough, and low stress
What's not so great: Help often doesn't go far enough and ends up referring me to the IRS website....which is, of course, useless.

Good overall, but inflexible

Changed from domestic partners to married this year, but the program would not allow this to be included. Was unable to import from last year because of this, and had to do a totally new return.
E-filing was rejected, and need to mail in, but program not accept this either and could not get mail-in instructions.
Printed unneeded Federal pre-payment forms, when got a refund this year/
What's great about it: Got all my data, filled out forms correctly
What's not so great: Unable to change status, unneeded pay forms

The Best Way to File Your Taxes

Very easy step by step process. Also, utilizing Turbo Tax from previous years allowed information to be transferred; saving time. Great, easy E-File. Very nice printouts of all preparation documents and filing documents.

i loved that i don't have to go to some tax preparation pereson I can do it at home have a little wine eat some cake.
What's great about it: easy filing
What's not so great: explanations a little confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great for Seniors

Like the ability to go back incase you made a mistake or want to reread some questions to make sure you understood them. wish they had a online chat though. otherwise a great product. will be using it again next year.
What's great about it: Walks you through every step.
What's not so great: doesn't have a live person to chat online for questions

My wife did not get a 1099misc and so did not want to report any business related stuff - process kept coming back at me as if she were in business for herself and she was not last year - I just entered zeros whenever asked about anything.
Also was never prompted for excise taxes on the cars
Otherwise great and the MA return was effortless!!

This is my forth year of using turbo tax and I love it. Keep it going at a reasonable price!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: once in a while it got confusing but I just went to the help menu
